Alevoksa Antibacterial Veterinary Solution for Pigs and Poultry 1 L

Alevoksa is an oral antibacterial veterinary medicine containing levofloxacin, an antimicrobial agent belonging to the fluoroquinolone group. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and a bactericidal effect.

Indications: 
Used to treat bacterial infections in pigs, broiler chickens, laying hens and replacement pullets, including colibacillosis, necrotic enteritis, pseudomonosis, campylobacteriosis, staphylococcosis, pasteurellosis, swine dysentery, spirochetosis and mycoplasmosis.

Composition: 
Each 1 ml contains 150 mg of levofloxacin and excipients.

Appearance: A clear liquid ranging from light yellow to yellow.

Administration and dosage: 
Administer orally, individually or to groups through drinking water. According to the supplied manufacturer's instructions, the dosage is 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight (7.5 mg of levofloxacin per kg of body weight), once daily for 3–5 days.

During treatment, pigs and poultry must receive only water containing the medicine. Prepare the solution daily according to the animals' and birds' daily water requirements. The daily dose may also be administered using the pulse-dosing method over 4–6 hours.
