Broad-Spectrum Complex Antibacterial for Animals — Doxicol Aqua

Doxicol Aqua — broad-spectrum complex antibacterial 🌿 for calves, pigs, and poultry, used to treat escherichiosis (colibacteriosis), salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, and other infections caused by doxycycline- and colistin-sensitive microorganisms affecting digestive, respiratory, and urogenital systems 🐄🐖🐓.

Dosage and Administration:

• Poultry (chicks, broilers, turkeys, geese): 0.1–0.2 ml/kg body weight individually, or 500 ml/1000 L water group method for 3-5 days; repeat if necessary after 5 days.

• Pigs: 1000–1500 ml/1000 L drinking water; individually 0.5–1.0 ml/10 kg body weight twice daily for 3-5 days.

• Calves up to 6 months: 0.5–1.0 ml/10 kg body weight twice daily for 3-5 days 💧.

Composition:
1.0 ml contains 200 mg doxycycline hyclate and 1,000,000 IU colistin sulfate.

Pharmacological properties:

• Doxycycline hyclate: semisynthetic tetracycline, bacteriostatic against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms (Chlamydia spp., Rickettsia spp., Mycoplasma spp., etc.), inhibits protein synthesis via 30S ribosomal subunit.

• Colistin sulfate: mixture of sulfate polypeptides from Bacillus polymyxa, bactericidal against most aerobic Gram-negative microorganisms (E. coli, Klebsiella spp., Salmonella spp., Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella spp., Proteus spp.), disrupts cytoplasmic membrane permeability 🌿.
