Limoxin - 200 LA Injectable solution for animals, 50 ml

Oxytetracycline belongs to the tetracycline group and has bacteriostatic action by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells.
Used in cattle, calves, goats, sheep, and pigs for:
• Arthritis and joint inflammation
• Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive microorganisms

Mainly excreted via urine, partially via bile; in lactating animals — via milk. One injection is effective for up to 2 days.

⚠️ Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines
• Severe kidney or liver disorders
• Concurrent use with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones, or cycloserine

❗ Side effects:
• Local reactions at the injection site
• Tooth discoloration in young animals
• Hypersensitivity reactions

💉 Administration and dosage:
Intramuscular or subcutaneous
• Standard dose — 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight
• Repeat if necessary after 48 hours
• Maximum per injection site:
– Cattle — 20 ml
– Pigs — 10 ml
– Calves, goats, sheep — 5 ml
