Mastiet Forte is a veterinary medicine presented as a yellowish-white oily suspension with a characteristic odour. It is intended for the treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating cows caused by microorganisms susceptible to its active ingredients.
Composition:
Each 8 g syringe tube contains:
Tetracycline hydrochloride — 200 mg.
Neomycin sulfate — 250 mg.
Bacitracin — 2,000 IU.
Prednisolone — 10 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Tetracycline hydrochloride — a broad-spectrum antibiotic.
Neomycin — an aminoglycoside antibiotic.
Bacitracin — an antibiotic with antibacterial activity.
Prednisolone — a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous effects.
Indications:
For the treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating cows caused by microorganisms susceptible to neomycin, tetracycline, and bacitracin.
Administration and dosage:
Administer the contents of one syringe tube into the affected udder quarter. Before administration, milk out the quarter and disinfect the relevant area. After administration, massage the quarter to distribute the product evenly.
Repeat the procedure three times at 12-hour intervals.
Contraindications and precautions:
Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to neomycin, tetracycline, or bacitracin.
Do not use during the dry period.
Animals must not be slaughtered for meat during treatment.
Meat may be used for human consumption 14 days after the last administration.
According to the supplied instructions, milk may be used for human consumption no earlier than after 8 milkings following the last administration.
Meat and milk obtained before the end of the withdrawal period must be disposed of or used for non-food-producing animals as directed by a veterinary professional.

Storage: Store in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children, at 2–8 °C.
Shelf life: 24 months.
Packaging: A cardboard box containing 20 polyethylene syringe tubes of 8 g each, packed in an aluminium pouch. The package also includes wipes moistened with an isopropyl-alcohol-based cleaning solution, individually packed in paper sachets.
