NITOX 200 – Long-acting injectable oxytetracycline solution, 100 ml

Nitox 200 belongs to the group of antibacterial agents. Oxytetracycline dihydrate provides bacteriostatic action against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria: Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Corynebacterium, Clostridium, Erysipelothrix, Pasteurella, Fusobacterium, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Actinomyces, Escherichia, Chlamydia, Rickettsia, Spirochaeta, etc.

The mechanism of action is inhibition of microbial protein synthesis.
The prolonged effect is due to the magnesium complex of oxytetracycline dihydrate.

After intramuscular injection, oxytetracycline is rapidly absorbed, reaching maximum concentration in tissues after 30–50 minutes. Therapeutic levels persist for 60–72 hours. Excreted mainly via urine and bile, partially with milk in lactating animals.

Oxytetracycline dihydrate (as magnesium complex) – 200 mg

💉 Administration and dosage:
Intramuscular injection — 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight
Single dose effective for up to 72 hours
