OXILONG RETARD 20% – Injectable solution for animals, 100 ml

Oxilong® Retard belongs to the tetracycline group of antibiotics.
Oxytetracycline has a broad antibacterial spectrum effective against Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Pasteurella spp., Clostridium spp., Actinobacteriae spp., some mycoplasmas, rickettsiae, chlamydiae, and protozoa.

Mechanism of action:
Inhibits microbial protein synthesis at the ribosome level and blocks RNA synthesis. Rapidly absorbed after intramuscular injection, reaches maximum blood concentration in 30 minutes, maintains therapeutic tissue levels for up to 96 hours.

🧪 Composition (per 1 ml):
Oxytetracycline (dihydrate) – 200 mg
Excipients: magnesium oxide, solufor, 1-N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, ascorbic acid, kollidon, rongalit, injection water

💉 Form and dosage:
Injectable solution, transparent, slightly viscous, brownish.
Administer intramuscularly according to species and weight, following veterinary prescription.
