Composition

Each 1 g contains:

  • Levofloxacin (as hemihydrate) — 100 mg
  • Excipient — lignosulfonate

Directions for Use

For ornamental aquarium fish

  • Short baths: 4 hours daily for 6 days, at a concentration of 1–2 g per 10 litres of water.
  • Long baths: continuously for 6 days, at a concentration of 1–2 g per 200 litres of water.
  • Prepare a fresh treatment solution every day.
  • Discontinue long-bath treatment if no clinical improvement is observed within 5 days.

Short baths should be carried out in separate containers without plants or substrate and equipped with aeration or water circulation. During treatment, lighting and filters should not be used, while aeration must be maintained.

The product is mixed with the daily feed ration. Treatment generally lasts 5–10 days; the treatment-and-prevention course lasts 3 days.

The daily dose depends on the disease:

  • Furunculosis, vibriosis, streptococcosis, and bacterial necrosis of the gills and fins: 0.25–0.5 g per kg of fish body weight.
  • Pseudomonosis and myxobacterioses: 0.5–1 g per kg of fish body weight.

Use only when the water temperature is at least 12 °C. The dosage and treatment duration should be determined according to the disease and the condition of the fish.
