Penstrep® 400 – Injectable Antibiotic, 100 ml

📌 Key Features

• Composition (per vial): 200,000 IU benzylpenicillin G + 200 mg dihydrostreptomycin sulfate per 1 ml

• Dosage form: sterile injectable suspension, 100 ml vial

• Indications: infections of respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary tracts; arthritis; mastitis; wound infections; etc., in cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, horses 

• Dosage:
  ‑ Cattle: 1 ml/20 kg daily × 3 days
  ‑ Other species: 1 ml/10 kg daily × 3 days 

• Administration interval: every 72 hours (or 48 hours if vet-recommended) 

• Side effects: local reactions, transient fever, anorexia, risk of ototoxicity/nephrotoxicity if overdosed

• Contraindications: known hypersensitivity, renal dysfunction, pregnancy in sows 

• Withdrawal periods: meat – 21 days, milk – 3 days, kidney – 45 days 

• Storage: store in cool, dry place (2–25 °C); after opening, keep at 2–8 °C for up to 14 days
