Penstrep - 400 LA 50ml – Long-acting antimicrobial suspension

Procaine penicillin G is mainly active against gram-positive bacteria, while dihydrostreptomycin acts on gram-negative organisms. Combined, they provide strong bactericidal synergy.
Indicated for infections caused by Pasteurella, Salmonella, E. coli, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus spp.

🧪 Composition (per 1 ml):
Procaine Penicillin G — 200,000 IU
Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate — 200 mg

💉 Dosage:
Intramuscular: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight every 72 hours
(or every 48 hours if prescribed).
Maximum per injection site:
• Cattle — 20 ml
• Pigs — 10 ml
• Calves, sheep, goats — 5 ml
Shake well before use.

⏱ Withdrawal period:
• Meat — 21 days
• Milk — 3 days
• Kidneys — 45 days
