Ricobel is intended for the treatment of helminth infections in cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs caused by parasites sensitive to albendazole sulfoxide.
Administration and Dosage:
Administer as a single individual intramuscular injection.
Cattle: 1 ml per 25 kg of body weight for monieziosis and pulmonary or gastrointestinal nematode infections; 1 ml per 20 kg for trichocephalosis and capillariasis; 1 ml per 12.5 kg for chronic fasciolosis, paramphistomatosis, and dicrocoeliosis.
Sheep and goats: 1 ml per 25 kg for monieziosis, thysanieziosis, avitellinosis, and pulmonary or gastrointestinal nematode infections; 1 ml per 12.5 kg for chronic fasciolosis, dicrocoeliosis, paramphistomatosis, trichocephalosis, and capillariasis.
Pigs: 1 ml per 20 kg for ascariasis, trichocephalosis, and strongyloidiasis.
In cold weather, warm the product to +20°C to +25°C before administration.
Contraindications and Precautions:
Do not use in females during the first third of pregnancy or in animals that are weak, emaciated, or suffering from infectious diseases. Use in young animals requires caution and veterinary supervision.
