Sulteprim — Combination Antibacterial Powder for farm animals, 1kg

Sulteprim is a combination antibacterial medicine supplied as a yellow powder that is poorly soluble in water. It is intended for the treatment of bacterial diseases in calves, lambs, piglets and chicks.

Pharmacological properties:
The antibacterial ingredients work together against a range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, including Escherichia, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Klebsiella, Corynebacterium, Streptococcus and Staphylococcus species. After oral administration, the active ingredients are absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and distributed throughout the body’s organs and tissues.

Contraindications:
Do not use in animals with individual hypersensitivity to tetracyclines, sulfonamides or trimethoprim.

Side effects:
According to the manufacturer, adverse effects are not observed when the recommended doses are followed.

Meat withdrawal period:
Animals may be slaughtered for meat 9 days after the end of treatment; poultry may be slaughtered after 5 days. If emergency slaughter occurs earlier, the meat may be used for feeding carnivorous animals or for producing meat-and-bone meal.

Storage:
Store in a dry place protected from light at 5–25°C. Shelf life: 2 years.
