Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic active against Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Bacillus anthracis, Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Leptospira spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp., etc.
It inhibits protein synthesis in bacterial cells by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit.
After intramuscular injection, peak concentration is reached within 1 hour; therapeutic levels remain for 20–24 hours. Excreted mainly via urine and bile, and with milk in lactating animals.

Tylosin (as base) – 200 mg
Excipients: 1,2-propandiol, benzyl alcohol, water for injection
