Vetfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic applied to animals against infections caused by sensitive microorganisms.
Usage and Dosage:
- Pigs, calves, lambs: 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight, once daily for 3–5 days
- Poultry: 5 ml per 10 L of drinking water
- Therapeutic dose of levofloxacin: 7.5 mg/kg body weight
Precautions:
- Not for animals sensitive to components or with severe liver/kidney failure
- Not for laying hens or replacement young chickens within 10 days of egg-laying
- Not for adult ruminants with developed rumen or piglets <20 kg
- Follow personal hygiene and safety rules when handling the drug
Storage conditions:
Store in a closed package at 5–25°C, in a dry place, away from food and feed ☀️❌
